Delamont Country Park

The access point at Delamont is reached by following the Park driveway past the car park towards the lough you will go through a gate (if it is locked you can ask the warden to open it (remember that you need return from your canoeing before the gate is locked)) limited parking is available on the grass verge beside the stony beach marked by the sign for the Strangford Canoe Trail. Be aware that at low tide the beach is very muddy. this is a good place to leave from to visit Salt Island where you can stay in the Bothy or camp.
